Their story is rich in lore and tradition, as their ancient craft has been little changed by modern technology. "Made and Bottled in Kentucky" features interviews with historians, bourbon distillers and other industry leaders. Produced in 1992 to celebrate the bicentennial of Kentucky statehood, "Made and Bottled in Kentucky" was funded by grants from Kentucky Educational Television (KET) and the Kentucky Distillers Association (KDA). Originally broadcast in Kentucky by KET, it was distributed nationally by the Southern Educational Television Association (SETA), and aired on most public television stations in the U.S. The DVD transfer was made in 2003 from one of the original Beta SP masters.
