I had never seen 48 Hours and was pleased to recieve this DVD package.
It was informative and interesting to see how real detectives work on the job to solve crimes.

the absolute best thing on TV .

Without a doubt, this is the most fascinating look into homocide ever done on television. The detectives are master-interrogators, the keenest observers and just (awe)some in so many ways.

This show totally ruined CSI and a couple other "cop-shows" that I used to enjoy. No more drama, ever again. I will only watch the first 48 because it is so intense!

Nail Biting Suspense.

This is my first season viewing of the "First 48" and I like to comment what a suspense thriller this is. I am intrigued on how these professional detectives can sleep at night doing something many people don't even dream of doing for a living. I just wish that there or will be more episodes of other cities like New York and Chicago were there is more violence and gore. Good job A&E!!

Very good movie! Good acting! It takes you through the process of closing a case and what the first 24 hours mean in how quickly gathering the evidence and putting all the factors together to solve the case.
